Brenden, currently 28 years old, was diagnosed as a young adult with a very rare and serious autoimmune disorder, called Short Telomere Syndrome (a TBD- Telomere Biological Disorder). STS is a condition that results in biological warfare, on the cellular level- and is the top of a lengthy list of medical conditions, including a high risk of cancers. Currently he is being seen by MD Anderson, being the disorder attacks the body similar to how Leukemia does it makes them the ?best equipped? to study in hopes to provide treatments. There is very limited options for Brenden, with most being out of state and too extensive for him to consider. Funds are being raise to help cover medical expenses/supplies, but hopefully also allow for alittle financial support to help Brenden receive his best chance at accessing treatment options that will repair the damage being done from this biological disorder.
