Ending poverty in our city can't just happen one family at a time?we need to build collective power with our neighbors to transform these systems of injustice.

Since 1981, the Community Action Agency of Somerville (CAAS) has helped local families and individuals achieve financial security while working to eliminate the root causes of economic injustice. Each year, our staff and volunteers support more than 600 low-income households in Somerville and Cambridge through our core programs: Head Start, Housing Advocacy Program, VITA free tax filing, and Community Organizing & Advocacy. To learn more about CAAS, visit: https://www.caasomerville.org/

Our Collective Power shirts are printed in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, three of the top languages spoken by our tenant leaders in Somerville. Purchase an adult t-shirt, youth shirt, or hooded sweatshirt and wear it with pride all year at community events, know your rights canvasses, and rallies for housing justice. The CAAS community was also invited to march in this year's HONK Festival parade from Davis to Harvard Square, and we'd love to have you join us!

Order your shirt by Wednesday, September 14 to guarantee delivery before HONK Fest, October 8-9. Shirts will still be available after September 14, but shipping may take longer.
