Today, Canal Basin Park is an urban riverfront that offers exceptional connections to the river and is home to a powerful origin-story and the region?s most significant convergence of movement?along trails, across water, through downtown, and into surrounding neighborhoods.

Through park redevelopment and immersive riverfront experiences, open green spaces, and embedded history, the park will become a dynamic destination that strengthens community connections and inspires a renewed sense of identity for residents, visitors, and adventurers at the region?s northern gateway.
