I have been overwhelmingly blessed with the opportunity to lead and serve in a community filled with the light and love of the Lord! Because of this, I also have the privilege of serving in the area of mission and ministry work. This year, that looks like traveling with UGA Wesley to Cuba in December and Jamaica for spring break.

I chose this design because it happens to be the mantra I hope to live by for the rest of my life. The Lord has blessed me with being deeply convinced that every human I meet has the capacity to experience His presence, and that light can be found within absolutely everyone! We are called to wear compassion and hospitality at the forefront, to welcome every heart with open arms, and to shed joy free of charge. This is a fight I?m willing to wage against darkness, isolation, depression, loneliness, anxiety, hurt, and brokenness of any kind because darkness cannot stand in the presence of light. Let?s carry this torch together! Ephesians 5:8-10 says, ?For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.?
