Yesterday, 15-week-old Daffodil came into rescue, and instead of learning what safety and love feel like, this baby is fighting for her life.

She arrived struggling with pneumonia and a 104? fever. We were hopeful antibiotics would help her pull through? but last night, everything changed. Daffodil took a devastating turn and had to be rushed to the emergency vet.

Now this sweet little bulldog puppy is lying in an oxygen chamber, fighting for every breath. Fighting for a chance at life. Fighting for the future she deserves.

She is just a baby. She should be playing with toys, snoring in a warm bed, and learning what it means to be loved ? not hooked up to machines in critical care.

But Daffodil needs us. She needs all of us.

Each day in the oxygen chamber is $1,500, and when she is old enough, she will also need vulvaplasty surgery. The medical costs are overwhelming, but walking away from her is not an option. We are committed to giving her every chance to survive.
