Defend Big Bend! Government contracts in the billions have been awarded to build a border wall in the Big Bend Region of West Texas. This devastating project includes public lands and the private property of ranches, farmers, and landowners. It is a waste of taxpayer money, and it will destroy the economy and livelihood of the people that live in the region. It will forever destroy the beauty of our parks and the migration of wildlife that inhabit the desert along the Rio Grande.
