At DMF Youth, we believe every young person deserves the chance to feel seen, supported, confident, and connected.

Through free dance, movement, social-emotional learning, and positive psychology programs, we work with students across New York City to build skills that reach far beyond the dance floor, including resilience, empathy, teamwork, self-confidence, and a stronger sense of possibility.

One phrase you?ll hear a lot at DMF Youth is ?Be an Awesome Human.?

To us, being an awesome human isn?t about being perfect. It?s about showing up with kindness, courage, empathy, gratitude, and care for the people around you. These are the same qualities we work to nurture in our students every day.

That?s why we created these shirts.

When you wear one, you?re not just sharing a message we love. You?re helping support free DMF Youth programming for young people who deserve access to joyful, high-quality spaces where they can move, grow, connect, and thrive.

Wear it proudly. Spread a little good. And most importantly, be an awesome human.
