Robert "Bob" Lawyer was a family man at heart. Working from the age of 9, he spent his life sacrificing so the people around him could live life more abundantly. From his humble paper boy roots to his young adult years at McDonald's and eventually his role as a director of operations for a national food warehousing organization, Bob was a true example of what it means to take lemons and make lemonade.

Bob's life was tragically cut short, his loss leaving a devastating and permanent hole in his family. However, "He makes beauty for ashes" -- a sentiment that could not ring truer for those he left behind, particularly his daughters and grandchildren. In honor of Bob's diligence, hard work, and commitment to his family, we have launched the Robert Lawyer Memorial Scholarship Fund to help provide for students in all walks of life.
