Euclid Beach Cat Project (EBCP) is in need of your help. Since our creation in 2006, we have expanded our services from Collinwood out into NE Ohio, but Collinwood will always be our home. With the redeveloping of the land that the mobile home park sits on, we have been asked by Western Reserve Conservancy to relocate all of the cats inside the park by October 2022. This is a huge undertaking. All of the cats will need vet care. Some extensive. There are approximately seventy-five cats inside being housed by a resident and outside at the park that need removed. We estimate this project being upwards of $10,000 to complete. We are hoping to offset the costs with the proceeds from this amazing tee created and designed by Jen Braz and Amber Tischler.
OUR MISSION:
Euclid Beach Cat Project is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer group that services cats in the Euclid Beach area and across Northeast Ohio. We believe that all cats deserve a chance, from those with seemingly hopeless medical situations, to those with their spirits broken by the ones they trusted. Whether they are fostered or in community cat colonies, we work to heal not only their bodies, but their hearts as well. We provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services, medical care, socialization, adoption services, and community awareness.
OUR HISTORY:
In 2006 a group of concerned citizens began a project to help the Euclid
Beach Mobile Home Park with an overpopulation of free roaming, unaltered
cats. Known as the ?Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park Project,? they received
grant money from the ASPCA, Valley Save-A-Pet, and a trust fund to start a
trap-neuter-return program. This program helped hundreds of feral and
stray cats and kittens in the mobile home park. In 2013 EBFCP incorporated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization named ?Euclid Beach Feral Cat Project.? In 2015 expanded into a small foster program and began doing business under the Name Euclid Beach Cat Project, because so many cats saved were not feral.
