About this campaign
Elaina was born with Down syndrome? her extra chromosome is what makes her sparkle. From the very beginning, Elaina has shown strength beyond her years. She was also born with a heart defect, making her first year of life incredibly challenging. After her heart repair, she began to thrive and bring joy to everyone around her.
On October 31st, 2024, Elaina suffered a stroke and was later diagnosed with Moyamoya, a rare condition that causes the main arteries in the brain to progressively narrow. In February of 2025, she underwent her first brain surgery. Despite complications and a long recovery, Elaina showed everyone what resilience truly looks like, even learning to walk over the summer.
Recently, doctors confirmed the condition has progressed to the other side of her brain. She will now have the same surgery on the other side on May 5th, 2026. The goal is to prevent another stroke or seizure and give her the safest, healthiest future possible.
Elaina is the happiest and most resilient kid you?ll ever meet. Her smile can brighten anyone?s day.
We would love for everyone to wear these shirts on May 5th to show their support of Elaina during her surgery. We encourage you to post pictures on Facebook or send them to us directly so we can share them with Elaina to show her how many people are thinking of her.
