At Strange Fruit Arts Center, we believe in the power of Black artistry to inspire, heal, and transform communities. Our short-term vision is to increase our annual offerings to bring the community together through art. For the long term, our vision is to create a dynamic space where Black artists can showcase their work, host community classes, and build meaningful connections through creativity.
To bring this vision to life, we are launching a fundraising campaign to raise $1500. These funds will help to bring our 4th annual artist Meet & Greet event to the community. Additionally, we will host a Painting with Seniors Party event during Black History Month at Silver Comet senior living facility in Powder Springs, Georgia. Our events uplift our community.
