My faith has gotten stronger since my son Tyler has been able to openly communicate with a letter board. He was diagnosed as autistic and 'mentally deficient' because he could not SPEAK. But since S2C, since spelling, he has been able to tell us about his faith in God and his love for everyone around him. He was underestimated, hopeless about his future - but he never lost faith in God. Tyler has been able to ask to take college classes, private art lessons, and he wants to be an advocate. He started surfing weekly, going to the gym, and cooking. They are in there.
