If you need a little pick-me-up, find a garden to stroll through and really LOOK. Take in deep breaths. Take off your shoes and feel the earth beneath your soles (soul!). Scan low, scan high, greet those that are small, caress leaves (they are reaching out to you, no?) and let your fingertips graze flower heads. Maybe even lie down on your back and let the smells of loam and grassy green wash over you. Listen. What does a garden sound like?
