I am a current veterinary student at Michigan State University. Orginally from Maryland, I moved to East Lansing for my program with my dog (Jim Bob) and two cats (Muffin and Rex). I have been taking Jimmy to Fenner Nature Center for our routine morning walks since moving to the East Lansing area. I am so appreciative of this outdoor space that welcomes so many people and their furry companions. I want to use raise money as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude. My second creature feature is Slot, a three-toed box turtle, that is currently housed in Fenner's Visitor Center. Three-toed box turtles get their name from the three toes on their hind feet, though, some three-toed box turtles can have four toes.
