The GOK librarian and Friends of the Library lead our school's favorite annual tradition - an epic Battle of the Books showdown, where 4th grade and 5th grade classes compete against their grade level in a series of trivia "battles" about specific books. Each grade level has a list of 20 high-quality books that students read throughout the school year and complete comprehension forms to earn prizes. At the end of the year, it culminates with a thrilling two-week "battle" showdown where students work with their team to answer detailed questions about the books. Our amazing 4th and 5th graders have already submitted over 1,300 Battle of the Books forms this school year!

The 2025-2026 BOB battles begin on Wednesday, April 22nd. Order your BOB gear so you can show your excitement and support for our amazing 4th and 5th graders!

The Friends of the Library will receive about $1 per sale. This was not intended to be a fundraiser, so prices were kept as low as possible. Purchase is not required for students to participate in BOB. These designs were made available just for fun!
