From February 10th to February 24th, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to the north coast of Honduras to volunteer at Hospital Loma de Luz in Balfate.

As I work through my nursing studies, I?ve been looking for tangible ways to step outside the classroom and serve a community where healthcare access is a major need. Hospital Loma de Luz provides essential medical care to families in the region, and the sign at the entrance says it best: "Dios Obra Aqu?" ? God Works Here. I am so honored to step in and serve alongside their medical team.

In addition to clinical volunteering at the hospital, I?ll also be spending time with the kids at El Camino Bilingual School, the mission school right down the road that provides education and discipleship to local children. Getting to support both the clinical work and connect directly with these incredible students makes this trip so close to my heart.
