This has been an idea in my mind and heart for years, and I finally decided to DO something about it and want to share it with the world!

Every time I hear about another accident on Arizona State Route 260 or see another roadside cross, I think about an idea I've had for a very long time. Well, I finally brought that idea to life, and I'm pretty darn proud of it!

First, a little backstory...

Back in the early 90s, when I had just turned 21, I traveled to Laughlin quite often. Back then, Highway 93 between Wickenburg and Laughlin was known as one of the deadliest roads in the country. Crosses lined both sides of the highway for miles.

But I also remember all the gift shops along that route selling funny T-shirts about surviving that dangerous road! I even owned a couple! They made people laugh, but they also got people TALKING. I've always believed that awareness helped bring about the improvements that eventually made that road safer.

Fast forward to today...

Highway 260 between the Valley and the White Mountains has become downright terrifying! I drive between Pinetop and Heber 3x per week and it seems like every week there's another accident, another tragedy, another roadside cross. Over the years we have had close friends & family tragically die on this road. In the past two summers alone, my hubby Kevin and I have personally been run off the road FOUR TIMES to avoid head-on collisions! And Kevin was witness and one of the first on scene to yet another head on collision earlier this summer!

Every time another tragedy happens, I think back to those T-shirts from the 90s and wonder... Could something like that help make a difference today?

Well, I finally decided to give it a shot! I have had a drawing that I created years ago and have been playing with and adding to over the years and I finally put it into a digital format and created these T-Shirts!

I wanted something fun, colorful, and a little humorous that anyone who travel this highway would resonate with and would love to wear!

But behind the humor is a serious message. It's about remembering those who have lost their lives, raising awareness, and hopefully encouraging changes that make this highway safer for everyone.

My hope is simple... Get people wearing them, get people TALKING, and maybe, just maybe, we can help bring about CHANGE! Sometimes something as simple as a T-shirt can start a conversation, and conversations can lead to BIG things!
