By increasing access to midwives, we?re not replacing medical care but expanding the kind of care families can receive.

The Midwife for Every Community Fund was created to help address one of the most significant barriers aspiring midwives face: the financial cost of professional education.

Becoming a midwife requires significant educational, financial, and personal investment. For many aspiring midwives, financial barriers can determine whether pursuing this calling is possible at all.

Our development research identified financial access as a significant concern, with 43% of respondents identifying financial barriers as a challenge to pursuing midwifery education.
