We are participating in the Breakthrough T1D Walk to transform life for the millions of people and children facing type 1 diabetes (T1D).

On January 21 2025 Juniper went for a Dr's visit with a cough and we came out of CHOC 3 days later, with a life long diagnosis of type one diabetes. It has been life changing for our family, but Juniper?s attitude towards T1D has always been positive. She wants to help people understand T1D, she gives friends grace as they learn her diagnosis with needing insulin before she eats and beeping of her devices. She is the toughest 5 year old we know and we are walking for her, and all families who go through the ups and downs of type one every day, every hour. We are all in this together and we believe Breakthrough T1D will one day, find a cure.
