Corporal Ryker Bradley Memorial Scholarship

Help Us Keep Ryker?s Legacy of Service and Compassion Alive

We are raising funds for the CPL Ryker Bradley Memorial Scholarship, created to honor the life and legacy of an extraordinary young man who dedicated his life to serving, protecting, and uplifting others.

Ryker was only 22 years old when he unexpectedly passed away on October 12, 2024, leaving behind a tremendous impact on his family, fellow Marines, friends, and the countless students whose lives he touched.

Our goal is to continue Ryker?s legacy by providing scholarships to Hutto High School seniors who demonstrate the same qualities that made Ryker so special?service, leadership, perseverance, compassion, integrity, determination, and a commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

A Life Dedicated to Service

Ryker?s commitment to serving others began at an early age. As a member of Hendrickson High School?s MCJROTC program, he rose to the position of Battalion Sergeant Major during his senior year.

After graduating in 2020, Ryker fulfilled his lifelong dream of joining the United States Marine Corps. He served honorably for four years, primarily stationed in Hawaii, before transitioning to the Marine Corps Reserves in August 2024.

When Ryker returned home to Texas, he continued his commitment to protecting and serving his community as a Campus Safety Officer with Hutto ISD, working alongside his father. He was preparing to attend the Fire Academy and pursue another career dedicated to helping others when his life was unexpectedly cut short.

The Difference Ryker Made

Ryker?s impact went far beyond his military service.

At Hutto High School, he had an incredible ability to make people feel seen, heard, and valued. He remembered students? names, noticed when someone was struggling, celebrated accomplishments that others might overlook, and took the time to simply listen.

For students who often felt invisible in a crowded hallway, Ryker made them feel important.

His kindness could be as simple as a smile, a conversation, encouragement when someone needed it, or one of his famous Dum-Dums?but those small moments meant so much to the people receiving them.

Ryker understood that protecting people wasn?t only about keeping them physically safe. It was also about creating an environment where people felt respected, welcomed, and cared for.

Continuing His Legacy

The CPL Ryker Bradley Memorial Scholarship is our way of ensuring that the qualities Ryker lived by continue to make a difference.

Scholarship recipients may demonstrate:

• A commitment to service and leadership
• Academic dedication and perseverance
• An interest in military, public service, first responder, or education careers
• Integrity, compassion, determination, and a positive attitude
• A willingness to recognize, include, and uplift others
• A desire to make their community a better place

Every donation helps us invest in a Hutto High School senior and give them an opportunity to pursue their future while carrying forward the values Ryker embodied.

By supporting this fundraiser, you aren?t simply donating to a scholarship. You are helping keep Ryker?s memory alive by continuing the work he began?serving others, lifting people up, and making sure no one feels invisible.

Ryker may no longer walk the halls of Hutto High School, but his light can continue to shine through the lives of the students this scholarship helps.

Help us keep his light shining.

Help us honor his legacy.

Help us give the next generation of leaders a chance to make a difference.
