All proceeds will go to the Forsyth County Association of Educators to help pay for four charter buses bringing educators and community members to the Advocacy Day on May 1 in Raleigh.
On May 1, educators and public school supporters will march in Raleigh to demand that the North Carolina General Assembly put kids over corporations.
Right now, North Carolina is on track to eliminate ALL corporate income taxes by 2030?while our public schools are asked to do more with less. That?s a choice. And it?s the wrong one.
We march to make billionaires and corporations pay their fair share so we can invest in our kids. We march to stop public dollars from being diverted to private school vouchers. And we march to put students?every single one?first.
We march to make kids North Carolina?s #1 priority by restoring the billions taken from classrooms through tax breaks and vouchers, and investing those dollars back into our public schools?so every student has smaller class sizes, modern facilities, and the educators they deserve.
Kids over corporations. Invest in public schools.
