For those who may not know, Lillian was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on New Year?s Day, 2023, she was just 3 and a half years old!

Since then, our world has changed in ways we never imagined. Diabetes doesn?t take a day off , it?s 24/7, 365. Every meal, every bedtime, every outing comes with extra steps, extra planning, and extra strength. We?ve done everything we can to make Lillian?s life feel as normal as possible, but there are still tough days and ongoing challenges.

We?re walking this year for Lillian, and for every other child and family living with T1D. Organizations like Breakthrough T1D have been a valuable resource to us. This will be our 3rd walk, and it?s become something truly special. It?s a way for Lillian to see that she?s not alone, that there are other kids just like her. The joy on her face when she meets new friends who understand her world is something we?ll carry in our hearts forever.

I can?t begin to express how grateful we are for the support we?ve received from friends, family, and coworkers. Your kindness and encouragement have truly meant the world to us.
