Levi was born a fighter on 4/13/21. After many open heart surgeries and a heart transplant on 5/24/24, Levi?s most recent heart Cath showed AMR, which is heart rejection. He has spent most of his 5 years of life inside hospital walls, but yet he always keeps a smile on his face. When Levi was first discharged from the hospital after heart transplant, I loved watching him look at the trees and the sky. He would get so excited, like he was seeing it for the very first time. Anytime he felt the wind in his hair, he would have the biggest smile and it made me think, I want to live like Levi. I want to be completely present in each and every moment and not caught up in the ways of the world. So, I want to raise awareness of CHD and also give Levi the best life that he has left, however long God allows!
