One day, a child protection officer in India noticed two young girls wandering around a train station. The officer quickly learned these young sisters had lost both parents when they succumbed to COVID. Not sure what to do, they had waited several days at home, hungry and all alone, before venturing out. The sisters were rescued by the child protection officer. With the help of an Agape Asia partner, one Christian family stepped forward to care for these children and give them a loving home.

Over 40 children orphaned by COVID are currently studying at TPG School, an Agape Asia partner. Our vision at Agape Asia is a world in which all children have an opportunity to be raised in a Christian environment, by a mother and father, becoming a disciple of Jesus, and with access to education and essential medical care. We aim to care for abandoned and at-risk children, disciple communities, and empower local ministries.
