The Lawrence D Toth memorial fund was founded as a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for the research and treatment of small cell lung cancer (SCLC). We honor the memory of Larry Toth; an avid fisherman, a lover of 80s rock music, a collector of Hawaiian shirts, an Air Force veteran, and air traffic controller at Boston Center for over 30 years. While over 200,000 Americans will be diagnosed with lung cancer this year, only 15% of them will receive an SCLC diagnosis. With no cure and limited treatment options, the need for research and innovation is critical. Larry?s legacy lives on through our mission to support clinical trials and breakthrough therapies that offer hope to SCLC patients. It is in this spirit of hope and determination that the LTMF continues to fight for the 15%.
