This one's not about a single moment, it's about the every day. Breakfast before daycare, lunch packed and ready, dinner most nights with him standing right next to me at the stove, more interested in stirring the pot than actually helping.

I do it because I want him to grow up knowing this is just what dads do. That taking care of your family, in the kitchen, at the counter, in the small stuff nobody claps for, is part of what it looks like to be a good man and a good father. He won't remember every single meal. But he'll remember that I was there for all of them.
