We are two 17 year old girls from Australia aiming to raise awareness for ME/CFS (myalgic encephalomyelitis) more commonly known as "chronic fatigue syndrome. "
ME is a devastating neuro immune disease that affects an estimated 17 million worldwide , leaving 25% of its sufferers housebound or bedbound. With a lower quality of life than HIV , cancer and MS, the disease is drastically life altering , yet grossly underfunded. There are no FDA approved treatments for ME/CFS and no cure, leaving millions worldwide missing from their lives with little to no recognition or help.
35% of the proceeds will go towards helping Eva , a 17 year old with severe ME , whom has been confined to her bed for two years due to the illness , to raise money for medical expenses.
