Every four years, the Maynard High School (MHS) Band and Chorus travel to Walt Disney World to participate in Disney Performance Workshops followed by a performance on a Walt Disney World stage. The trip offers each student an educational opportunity from a top-notch Disney professional musician. For most of our students, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  

In April 2027, around 80 ninth- to twelfth-grade students will travel to Florida with their music directors, nurse, and chaperones. The total trip cost is over $200,000. The Band and Chorus students, their parents, and the all-parent trip planning committee have begun their fundraising efforts to help reduce the cost.
