When professional critique is met with dismissal instead of dialogue, it often reveals something deeper than disagreement. This campaign was created in response to that pattern. After raising evidence-based concerns within my scope as a healthcare provider, the response I received was not a discussion of facts, but an attempt to reduce and discredit me through misogynistic language tied to s*x work.
The statements featured in this design are recreated from real comments, with all identifying details removed. They are presented here as social commentary and parody, highlighting how quickly professional women can be undermined when their expertise challenges power or profit.
Instead of rushing to put out AI slop for a quick buck, I worked intentionally with a real human artist, Angie Cibis of angiecibisdesign, to create something thoughtful, ethical, and grounded in purpose. Every element of this design was crafted to reflect both the reality of the experience and the broader issue it represents.
This campaign is not about shame. It is about accountability, transparency, and refusing to participate in narratives that devalue S*x Workers or weaponize that label against women.
All proceeds from this campaign go directly to The Cupcake Girls, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports people working in the s*x industry and those affected by s*x trafficking. Their work includes access to medical and mental health care, education, career support, safe housing, and community-based resources tailored to individual needs.
Each item generates approximately 8 to 9 dollars in profit, all of which is donated, with the option to contribute additional funds at checkout.
If misogyny can be loud, it can also be documented. And when it is documented, it can be challenged.
