Founded in 1989, the Anacostia Watershed Society is dedicated to restoring and protecting the Anacostia River. Your support will enable us to plant and maintain wetland habitat along the Anacostia, educate and engage youth and adults about the river, and propagate thousands of freshwater mussels that will filter millions of gallons of water each year!
