Chuzell Best-Grant was born in Brooklyn, New York, Ms. Best-Grant is of Caribbean heritage with a mother who is from Barbados and a Guyanese father. She attended Brooklyn Preparatory High School, a college preparatory school located in Williamsburg where she received three (3) college credits from her AP art program. Currently, she is a freshman at Virginia Union University (VUU) studying Mass Communication.

Her goal is to pursue a career in the Art and Fashion Industry.  ?I?ve always had a passion for art since I was a toddler. Being able to create a design and having my design selected for the Homecoming 2026 t-shirt contest is a great start to my next chapter. I look forward to creating more designs for VUU. I?m excited and inspired.?
