Arizona Humanities Council is dedicated to fostering a just and civil society by providing opportunities for Arizonans to explore their shared human experiences through the humanities. As a prominent leader in the cultural life of Arizona, the organization supports accessible and educational public programs that promote understanding of the human experience through history, literature, language, ethics, philosophy, and other cultural studies. Through grants to schools, community and cultural organizations, traveling speakers, youth literacy programs, veterans programs, book and film discussions, and traveling exhibitions, Arizona Humanities Council celebrates Arizona's rich culture and history while connecting communities across the state.
