Bleating Hearts Farm and Sanctuary

Bleating Hearts Farm & Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3), 100% volunteer-run nonprofit in Napa Valley dedicated to giving second chances to animals who are abandoned, injured, disabled, elderly, medically fragile, or simply overlooked.

We believe every life has value, especially the ones the world too often gives up on.

Our sanctuary specializes in compassionate, hands-on care for animals with nowhere else to turn. From emergency veterinary treatment and rehabilitation to neonatal care, mobility support, prosthetics, senior care, and lifelong sanctuary, we meet each animal where they are and give them the opportunity to heal, thrive, and simply enjoy being loved.

When adoption is possible, we work to find safe, loving homes. When it isn't, they have one here for life.

But our mission reaches beyond our sanctuary gates. We believe compassion strengthens communities, whether we're helping local families keep beloved animals during difficult times, sharing resources and education, or providing fresh produce from our property to neighbors in need.

Because we are entirely volunteer-run, community support goes directly toward the work: veterinary and medical care, feed, rehabilitation, shelter, bedding, and the everyday necessities that make each rescue possible.

Every animal who comes through our gates has a story. Your support helps us make sure that story doesn't end where someone else gave up.
