The Mendocino Land Trust conserves and restores habitat, scenic areas and working lands while also providing public access to beautiful places.
We are a nonpolitical, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that works all across Mendocino County and in part of Lake County. Our federal EIN is 94-2362450.
A small group of engaged community members started the Mendocino Land Trust as a kitchen-table organization back in the mid-1970s. The Land Trust has grown into a professional, nationally accredited organization with an amazing network of board members, staff, volunteers, supporters and partners who have contributed to an impressive list of projects and accomplishments.
With your help, we have worked with hundreds of landowners and partners to protect more than 18,000 acres across Mendocino County, opened six preserves to the public and completed miles of trails for all to enjoy.
