1000 Miles Ovard The Last Frontier is more than a journey to the Iditarod?it?s about chasing a dream, embracing adventure, and showing my 11 kids what can happen when you?re willing to work hard, persevere, and keep moving forward when the trail gets tough.

After six years of working with sled dogs and building my experience as a musher, I?m preparing to take on one of the greatest challenges of my life: the 2027 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and nearly 1,000 miles across Alaska.

But this journey isn't only about reaching Nome.

As a father of 11, I want my kids to see that big dreams require big commitments. I want them to understand that success isn't about choosing the easiest trail. It's about having the courage to start, putting in the work when nobody is watching, overcoming setbacks, caring for the team that depends on you, and continuing forward when quitting would be easier.
