My sweet Pablo was a rescue, picked up in Prosser, WA from a small facility that housed way too many dogs. Believe it or not, he was so shy and disconnected I almost did not take him, but the shelter owner implied that he would not last the winter if I did not get him that day. Partially because I had just driven across the state, drawn by his giant ears and supposed part-corgi lineage, I said I would give it a week. Needless to say, his personality blossomed and he thrived for 15 years. Let's support Dog Gone Seattle in his honor.

About Dog Gone Seattle
Together with our partners, we rescue homeless dogs and dogs at risk of euthanasia in shelters across Washington and beyond. Many of our dogs come from open-intake municipal shelters in California or rural shelters in Texas, where friendly, adoptable dogs often have just days before being euthanized due to space constraints. We bring these animals to safety in the Pacific Northwest and place them in loving foster homes, giving them a second chance and the first step on their journey to a forever home.
