I?m participating in the Breakthrough T1D Walk to help transform life for the millions of people living with type 1 diabetes (T1D).

I was diagnosed with T1D 12 years ago, and since then, it has been a constant part of my everyday life?planned around numbers, devices, and decisions that never take a day off. While T1D is manageable, it is relentless, and the physical, emotional, and financial toll is real.

This walk is about more than awareness?it?s about supporting research, advocacy, and progress toward better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. By walking, fundraising, and sharing my story, I hope to make a meaningful impact for everyone affected by T1D today and in the future.
