Founded in response to the April 2010 death of 56-year-old kindergarten teacher Peggy Lillis from a community acquired C. difficile infections, PLF is now the leading national nonprofit combating C. diff infections through education and advocacy. A single mother, Peggy taught her sons that "All We Have In The World Is Each Other." That belief in the power and people and communities to combat disease and care for one another guides PLF's work to this day.
