Born in New Jersey, Joseph John Sanchez III (@joejohnart) developed a passion for art through Saturday morning cartoons and Sunday comic strips. In 2007, Sanchez succumbed to adulthood and kicked off a decade-long marketing career, but he never fully abandoned art. From New York City to the Boston suburbs, he occupied his commutes by creating intricate newspaper collages and playful ballpoint pen illustrations. Now based in Washington state, he has committed to developing work composed of swirling handwritten text, miniature pictures, and repeating patterns that appear as texture from afar.

This Pride Month, and every day, Lifelong stands up for neighbors facing illness and injustice. As queerness, race, and poverty have been stigmatized in our healthcare systems, Lifelong has been fighting for nearly 40 years to break down these barriers to achieve health for all. And they won?t stop until every person has the opportunity to reach their best possible health.
Support Lifelong?s LGBTQ+ health services and celebrate the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community with a limited-edition Pride shirt today. Learn more about the artist collaboration and Lifelong's services at Lifelong.org.
