October is Rett syndrome awareness month! This year we decided to do a T-shirt fundraiser to raise money for Rett syndrome research. Order now so that you can rock your purple Rett shirt this October and show your support for Stella and so many other stellar individuals who bravely battle this rare genetic neurological disorder. The foundation directly receiving the profits from this fundraiser is the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. They have been a huge support and incredible resource for us ever since we received Stella?s diagnosis. IRSF is relentlessly pursuing a cure for Rett syndrome in the future while also providing unwavering support for families fighting Rett right now. The research going on right now is really exciting and very promising! The first ever FDA approved treatment of Rett syndrome, the drug Daybue, was approved this last year, and several gene therapy trials are now underway with promising outcomes. Together we can continue to fund life changing research, and support families of individuals with Rett syndrome!
