Celebrating 45 years of cultivating life-long learners!
For over four decades, Blue Mountain School has been nurturing curious minds in the heart of Floyd, Virginia. As a Contemplative Progressive community serving preschool through middle school?including forest programs and summer camps?we've stayed true to what matters most: small classes, strong teacher-student relationships, and the social-emotional foundation that makes all learning possible.
That's the spirit behind this year's campaign: Piece by Piece is all about what our community builds together?one family, one gift, one piece at a time. Every purchase through Bonfire is one more piece in that puzzle, directly supporting Blue Mountain School and the quality education we're known for.
Introducing our 2026-2027 class shirts! Wear your Blue Mountain pride wherever you go, and know that your purchase helps keep our school strong.
Order yours today and add your piece to the puzzle. Thank you for being part of our community!

Piece by Piece
?
Every student deserves access to quality education?that's the belief our school community was founded on. Currently only 26% of our families pay the full cost of tuition this year; the rest are on a reduced rate.
That's exactly the kind of school we set out to build: one that works even when families can't cover the full cost alone. But every time a family pays less than the full cost, it creates a shortfall in what it actually takes to run Blue Mountain School?money we still need, whether or not tuition covers it.
That gap doesn't close on its own. Every year, our community closes it together, piece by piece. This year's campaign, Piece by Piece, is our annual fund drive to cover that shortfall and keep our classrooms diverse, vibrant, and open to every family who shares our mission.
No gift is too small to be a piece of the puzzle. Whether you give $25 or $500, your donation goes directly toward the small classes, dedicated teachers, and strong relationships that make Blue Mountain School what it is.
Join us in building this school piece by piece.
