San Francisco Zine Fest is a member of Intersection for the Arts. 

Intersection for the Arts is a bedrock Bay Area arts nonprofit that provides people working in arts and culture with fiscal sponsorship and resources to grow.

In previous years, San Francisco Zine Fest has received the bulk of its operating budget from a combination of grants and exhibitor table fees. Due to COVID-19, we took our 2020 and 2021 fest 100% online made it entirely free for both exhibitors and online attendees. At the same time, many of the grants we previously relied on have been (rightly) allocated to organizations that are helping alleviate the problems caused by the pandemic.

2022 was SF Zine Fest's first year back in person, and while we had an amazing show of support from the zine community, we still want to bring even more workshops, panels and educational opportunities to the greater SF Area.

SF Zine Fest is committed to bringing the same quality of programming and events to our attendees and exhibitors in 2023, and we need your help!
