I am headed out to southeast AZ to do WWOOF half day work-trade in February.

The mission is to get my bearings for the microclimates and see how my past 10 years of permaculture experience can be adapted as I learn high desert organic cooperative homesteading and get hands on with passive solar earthen building construction techniques.

I am tasked with building a bunkhouse and winding shop on wheels, registering it as an RV, and having it working and ready to travel by the end of January.

The best way to pursue future goals and maintain my favorite job ever, I will be spending the open half of the WWOOF workday winding as normal short term, and winding in interesting places, visiting looths and guitar shops along the way, and traveling back and forth over the next few years between AZ and GA to develop our own low cost of living food producing eco-hacienda of sorts, relocating the fam and SHW when ready.
