The fourth annual Utqiagvik Migratory Bird Festival will be held on June 12th?14th, 2026 at Fred Ipalook Elementary School in Utqiagvik, AK. We are a free, nonprofit bird festival that is held annually with the primary goals of (1) highlighting the value of, and threats faced by, migratory birds nesting in the high Arctic and (2) celebrating I?upiat tradition and connection to the natural resources of the region. This year's festival will feature a variety of free events to visitors and the local community alike. We will organize educational activities for children, bird trivia, birding field trips, visual and performing art expositions, workshops, and scientific presentations. Register for the festival here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1987178686946?aff=oddtdtcreator.
