Hailing from Oakland, Saurus brings thirty years of experience to the turntables, drum machines and boards and has shared the stages with Rakim, KRS-ONE, Masta Ace, Hieroglyphics, Blackalicious, Z-Trip, J-Rocc, Just Blaze, Shortkut , Nu-Mark and Koco just to name a few. A founding member of Heavyweight Crates, Saurus is known for his elusive record collection, unconventionally dope style on the turntables, as well as curating unique events aimed towards preserving vinyl culture such as the Pass The Peas Day Party series. Saurus remains a breath of fresh air with his obscure selections and diverse taste in music, backed by the firm belief that no party gets rocked without moving the crowd to something they have never heard before.
