Welcome to the Team James shop! ?

James is fighting Late Infantile Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD), a rare, inherited and progressive neurological disease that damages the protective myelin surrounding nerves in the brain and throughout the nervous system. As MLD progresses, children can lose abilities they once had, including walking, talking, eating, and other everyday functions. While treatments may slow or prevent disease progression for some children when given early enough, there is currently no cure for MLD.

Because MLD is so rare, awareness matters. Early diagnosis is especially important because treatment options can depend heavily on a child?s age, symptoms, and stage of disease.

This shop was created to rally around James and his family, raise awareness for MLD, and help ease the financial burden associated with his care and treatment.
