Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that depends on support from members and donors. The mission is to protect birds of prey and other migratory birds in the Western Lake Superior Region through research, education, and stewardship. Thousands of visitors come to witness the amazing bird migration along Lake Superior at Hawk Ridge Nature Reserve during the fall and West Skyline Parkway during the spring, while learning about the bird research and education conducted by Hawk Ridge Bird Observatory.
