KP Counseling Center is celebrating 55 years of serving WV through anxiety, grief, and marriage & family counseling.

West Virginia has always had its legends ? Mothman watching over Point Pleasant, the Flatwoods Monster, the hellbenders hiding in our cold mountain streams. But for 55 years, KP Counseling Center has been the real legend serving this state: showing up for West Virginians since 1971, long before "mental health" was something people said out loud.

This year, we're celebrating that legacy the only way Appalachia knows how ? with a little humor, a lot of heart, and a shirt worth wearing. Our limited-edition Cryptids tee pairs West Virginia's favorite folklore with the words that have always been true: Serving West Virginians Since 1971.
