Here at Misfit Hounds we rescue hounds in danger of euthanasia from shelters.

These are usually the less adoptable dogs, because of health, age, behavior, or just because hounds are a dime a dozen in the South.

What sets us apart from other rescues, you may ask? It's our ability to take a hard to adopt dog and make them almost virtually unadoptable. That's right, we take these sick, neglected, and abused hounds from an environment of just being a tool, to an environment where they are the only thing that matters. We basically spoil them rotten.

Our dogs eat better than we do, have better Healthcare than we do, are never lonely, never unsupervised, never go a day without positive reinforcement, touch or affection .

I'll admit it's a horrible business model. But for the hounds we can help, it's the best thing that could have ever happened to them.
