We all know that the spoon theory is very real. Wouldn't it be great to have a small group within our larger community that can help one another when we're running low on spoons, and vice versa?

Let?s set up an exchange for gently used mobility aids that we can gift to friends in need.

Wouldn?t it be wonderful if we had an idea of who in our group may not have family support or who feels comfortable sharing when they're facing surgery or struggling with depression? A simple social call could mean the world to someone in those situations.

Wouldn?t it be great if we could share our successes?whether related to supplements, doctors, therapy, diet, or exercise?in a way that inspires new ideas and hope for those of us who are feeling overwhelmed?

It would also be nice to meet up with new friends to watch a movie or play bingo, where we can focus on having fun without always discussing our disabilities.

These may seem like dreams, but they are definitely achievable.

I hate to think that I (or we) could be unaware while someone in our group is hungry, scared, lonely, or feeling down, and that I could have done something to help.
